Amaia - Working TitleA throne sits at one end of a large, stone room; an archway stands at the other. A path lined with pillars connects the two. In the middle of the path stand two figures wielding swords, one encircled in flames and the other in wind. Both are severely injured and obviously exhausted. They simply watch each other, studying, waiting for the other to charge. After what seems an eternity, they run at each other in perfect synchrony, and meet with a clash. Flames rise and writhe in the wind, engulfing the two adversaries as they fight for their lives. Moments later, the flames sink down and vanish. Gossipers - working title Susan had always been careless about who she told what and where she was when she told them. This was a particular problem at work. In an office building filled with cubicles, privacy is nonexistent. Susan’s employers had talked with her about her little problem, but that hadn’t seemed to make a difference. Today, for example, Susan was talking about something she had overheard in the lunchroom. (Eavesdropping was another of her talents.)
